National Apprenticeships Week 6th – 10th February!
National Apprenticeship Week is the time when all eyes are on Apprenticeships and it’s all about raising the profile amongst employers, individuals, teachers, parents and the media.
During National Apprenticeship Week all eyes are on Apprenticeships and the week aims to raise the profile of these amongst employers, individuals, teachers, parents and the media.
As employees, apprentices earn a wage and work alongside experienced staff to gain job-specific skills whilst also attending off the job training on a day release basis to work towards nationally recognised qualifications.
Apprenticeships are increasingly recognised as the gold standard for work-based training. There are over 100,000 employers offering Apprenticeships in more than 160,000 locations; there are more than 200 different types of Apprenticeships available offering over 1,200 job roles.
NCC Home Learning supports National Apprenticeships Week and has employed a number of apprentices over the past 3 years, guiding them through both their on the job training and in gaining their Nationally Recognised Qualifications. Our apprenticeships have been crucial to the successful running of our business.
