Required knowledge

There is no previous learning knowledge needed to enrol on to the course making it easily accessible to anyone who would like to learn more about this subject area. However, it is recommended that learners should have a minimum of level two in literacy or numeracy or equivalent.   

Assessment

This programme is fully assessed via tutor marked assessments. Upon completion of each unit, the learner will be required to complete a series of tasks which are sent to the tutor for marking. 

Please Note: a work placement is required to complete this qualification. Before you can complete this qualification, you must be able to obtain voluntary or paid work experience in an assessment environment. You will need to provide assessment evidence from a real assessment situation and simulation is not allowed. 

Awarding organisation

Upon completion of this qualification you’ll be awarded a TQUK Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement (RQF). This is a regulated qualification and carries credits on the RQF framework.

TQUK are fully approved as an awarding organisation by Ofqual and award RQF courses in a number of sectors. RQF courses have various credit values which can be applied to the National Credit Transfer System. TQUK accredit courses which are developed by industry experts and work hand in hand with organisations ensuring the calibre and worth of courses provided.

What does NCC stand for?

NCC originally stood for the National Consortium of FE (Further Education) Colleges. This brought together the FE Colleges to achieve the best provision. Regular national meetings were attended by both Colleges and Government agencies who funded them. This was very helpful to them both to best deliver training to their students.
